Training Services

Through our membership we understand the training needs and skill requirements of local businesses. As part of its continuous work to support business the Chamber runs a variety of 1-day courses throughout the year, primarily on international trade-related subjects, where it has long had specialist knowledge and experience, and on first aid.

To complement this effort we work in partnership with a number of high-quality, fully accredited training and education providers – listed below - from both public and private sectors, that have long specialized in meeting the needs of employers and that have developed a wide range of short and longer courses tailored to business. Together with these partners we strive to achieve a collaborative approach to business support and to work with them across the north Hampshire area, regularly surveying local businesses in order to meet their future training requirements. 	The BCOT Business Unit works closely with employers to provide tailored training which can be delivered flexibly on site or on employer premises according to customer needs. They also offer a range of professional and statutory qualifications across all sectors.

With our track record of developing close working relationships with local business we are able to offer bespoke training delivered at the workplace or at the College. 	The University of Winchester offers a wide variety of part-time career development programmes, from foundation through to postgraduate level
	The Adult Education Centre (ACE) at Peter Symonds College, Winchester, provides business training in IT and personal development via day or short courses. Tailor-made courses can be arranged. A variety of other subjects are available.
