Turning "What?!"
into "Let's do it!"
To be
an enabling channel to the new world of e-commerce we need to support
and develop the abilities of
our members. In our e-support area we provide help, advice and information
to achieve this goal.
e-Help
e-Help is the section of Main Highway
which provides assistance with the technical and managerial aspects
of E-Commerce. It is targeted at helping those companies who are
just starting out and do not have a great depth of experience in
IT matters.
There are three
sections to e-Help
- Hints,
Tips and FAQs. Short items answering the problems nearly
everyone has when starting out.
- How To Longer
items specifically targeted at accomplishing a specific task.
- White
Papers Articles which are longer still, aimed at giving
an in-depth background on a particular topic relating to e-commerce.
Some have been provided by third parties.
- Advice
Centre.
We are presently preparing an advice centre where members can
request specific queries to be answered.
e-Tools
In our e-tools area members gain access
to some of the software tools and utilities which are useful to
develop their use of e-commerce. The
tools presently offered are divided into useful utilities and useful
software packages. We have arranged re-seller arrangements with
some of the major suppliers and we will endeavour
to bring discounts to the membership wherever possible.
e-Courses
We try to keep a track of some of the
courses available through a number of centres and supplier partners.
We are also planning an advisory service to help members develop
new competencies in their businesses.
Solutions in partnership:

Extranet e-Support
When you are no longer a beginner you forget how
much you didn't know before, e.g.
What is MIME encoding?
How do I zip files?
What is dial up?
What's the difference between internet access and
e-mail?
Why does my browser go to Microsoft's home page
when I open it?
What is my browser history?
We all have to learn to do, and if we learn well we will do
well.
