Registering Your Company
Who and what you are You do not have to be a registered limited liability company to be allowed to place an entry in this directory. However, if you are, please use your name as registered with Companies House. User ids and passwords are case sensitive. Please note that you will make your entry more secure if you use a mixture of letters and numbers in your password. Mother's maiden name is not case sensitive. Please note that the only date format we accept is the one shown - the day as digits, the month as three letters and the year as four digits. Each of these items must be separated by a hyphen. We are Year 2000 compliant. If you make a mistake and the system comes back to you to correct it, you will have to supply your password again. Extra security!
Key Words Once again the database will look for the characters provided even when they are imbedded inside a word. However, it is wise to be exhaustive if you can. Remember however that if you put in generic terms (such as business services) you may be found by too many searchers and receive leads which are not useful to you. Experience shows that the best approach is to use a series of generally accepted terms for your line of business followed by around six specific terms which describe your own specialities.
